To all,
Thanks to all of you who participated in our membership program this year. As you may know, this year was a trial period, just to see how successful the program could be, and it was successful indeed! We got a lot of members registered on our website and saw an increase in attendance at our events.
Our winner for this year was Ben Wu (Trinity '09), with a grand total of 1040 ASAPs! The grand prize this year was a Nintendo Wii, signed by the ASA Executive Board! The membership program will be running again next year, so be sure to keep up to date on all ASA events by visiting www.dukeasa.com. Thanks again for all your support, and helping to make ASA great.

To all,
Hey, I know it's been a while since you've heard anything about ASA membership, but we're about to finish out the year with a bang! As you may know, we've got a slew of great events planned for APAHM, but you may NOT know that we're awarding the top ASAPs earner (ASA Points) an awesome grand prize! Trust us, this is something that you'll definitely want to win. There will also be rewards for runners-up. Details about the prizes will be disclosed at the Elections Meeting next Monday, so be sure to show up and VOTE! Until then, check out all our upcoming events at www.dukeasa.com. Our first APAHM event is happening TODAY, which is the Ma Si Cong Classical Concert. Once again, this membership program is completely free, and all you have to do is show up to events to get points. If you're not registered yet, you can still sign up here and start earning points. Be sure to sign in at the events so you can receive credit.
Show up, sign in, get free stuff.

To all,
Thanks to all of you that made it out to Lunar New Year! Hope you all enjoyed the show as much as I did. We'd like to get some feedback about how we did this year, so that we can improve next year's show. Your incentive: 20 ASAPs (that's ASA points) on the membership website! That's right, this will take about 30 seconds, and you'll get free points! So click here to evaluate LNY!
Additionally, there is a new event, a dialogue, which was mentioned during LNY. Click here to learn more! Note that this event is worth more than the normal event, so take advantage of this and show up. Be sure to sign in or you won't get credit. Hope to see you all there!

To all ASA members,
Lunar New Year pre-registration is now available! In case you didn't get the last email, each registered member will be allowed to pre-register for LNY and reserve 1 show ticket and 1 dinner ticket by clicking on the following link: Reserve tickets. Pre-registration will close on Sunday 11:59pm, so be sure you get all of your friends to sign up and pre-register before then. After you reserve your tickets, it should show up on this page as "Pending approval." You can pick up your reserved tickets anytime from 10am to 5pm, Feb. 11-15 from ASA representatives on the BC plaza and in front of the Marketplace. Reserved tickets will no longer be available on February 15 at 5pm. If you do not pre-register, you can still pick up dinner and show tickets during these times, unless they are already sold out. Pre-registration guarantees your ticket, so take advantage of this opportunity, and sign up today!

To all ASA members,
I've just implemented the new evaluation feature of this membership website. The purpose of these evaluations is for us to get some feedback on how our events went so that we can improve them for next time. In return, you can earn 20 extra points for taking the time to fill one of these out. Brownie points if you write in an additional comment/suggestion! Currently, there is an evaluation form available for the Sushi-Semi, so click here to fill it out and start earning more points! Keep in mind that you can only fill it out if you actually attended the event and got approved for it. We know who you are.
Also, check out the new LNY webpage, which includes more information on the event, and eye candy!

Thanks to all of you who came out to the First Annual Sushi-Semi! It was a great success and it was great to see all of you. We had a total of about 70 attendees, and a night filled with food, drinks, and dancing. Our next big event will be Lunar New Year 2008, so stay tuned!

Apologies to anyone who was out on the plaza today only to find that there was no one selling tickets! In fact, we will not be selling tickets, but will be trying out a new system. When you pay for the semi- at the ASA table, we will verify that you've pre-registered, and we'll change your status on this website so we'll know who's paid. We'll also keep a hardcopy of those who've signed up. Be sure to bring ID to the semi- so we can let you in. If you have any questions, send an email to Sungho.

Greetings, earthlings! Tonight at our general body meeting, we re-launched the membership website in full-fledged mode. New features include a list of upcoming events, merging of the old and new sites, as well as many bug fixes. We're still working on getting rewards that you can redeem your ASA Points (ASAPs) for, but until then, keep attending events and make sure to sign in so you can receive credit!
On another note, our first annual Sushi Semi Formal will be held this Sunday, January 20th at Mt. Fuji in Brightleaf Square. It's the night before Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so there's no school and no reason to not go! There is a $25 cover charge per person, but anyone who pre-registers through this website (more info here) will receive a $5 discount when buying tickets. Tickets will be sold on the BC plaza every day this week, so keep an eye out, and hope to see you all there, dressing all spiffy-like.
